At Paignton Constitutional Club, we offer a space where you can unwind, socialise, and enjoy a range of exciting activities. From bingo nights to snooker tournaments, there's always something happening here. Watch out for our other events, including modern discos and Euchre Tournaments.
Announcements
Important Catering Notice
It has been decided by the committee to close the lunchtime service of catering with effect from 31st August. This is due to the unsustainable increases in the National Living Wage, food costs and utilities.
We will instead be offering a fresh roll service starting Tuesday, 2nd September, available for purchase every day at the bar.
Buffets for functions and Pie + Pasty take-outs will continue.

Free Quiz Night on Tuesdays
Every Tuesday evening we have a fantastic free-entry quiz suitable for all!
Join in for a chance of winning £25 cash, bottles of win, £5 drinks vouchers, or the dreaded toilet roll.
Our unique prize system gives every team a chance to win the top prizes even if you don't win the quiz!
Also, as an individual, play for a star prize of up to £100 in the Question or Card raffle
Max 6 people per team 8:30 start.

Bayside Soul Disco
This very popular Northern Soul Disco is returning this month (and now booked every montht to the end of the year). Sunday at 3 pm. Everyone welcome, non-members are just £1 entry - tell your friends
Sunday 24th August
Quiz night
This Month's Sunday night quiz will be hosted by Bernie, one of our regular contenders on a Tuesday night.
This quiz will now become a fixture on the last Sunday of every month (with the exception of December)
Starts at 7pm (will be finished by 9:30pm). £1 per person entry fee and a maximum team size of 6. Prizes dependant on how many turn up.
Open to everyone including non-members.
Friday 29th August
She's BACK!!!!
The much-awaited and anticipated return of Donna's Disco. As requested, this one will be a dance music night with the full range from Old school to house and rave.
As always, free to members and £1 for guests, come along and bring your glo-sticks and hi-vis jackets.
Sunday 7th September
Boardgames night
This is going to be our first attempt at having a board games afternoon. Come along any time after 2 pm for Chess, Draughts, Cribbage, Canasta, Backgammon, Rummikub (possibly), Dominoes or Shove ha'penny!
Everyone welcome. As always, non-members must be signed in and a £1 admission fee must be put in the box.
Friday 12th September
Poker night
This will now be a regular feature, as long as it continues to be well-attended. The 2nd Friday of every month. The "friendly" table is a £2 buy-in with unlimited re-buys.
We welcome new players and are happy to spend some time teaching "Newbies". Don't worry, with only £2 buy-in you are not going to lose your shirt. We are here to have a fun night, not to make a fortune.

Excellent Bar
Our CAMRA award-winning bar (2nd year in a row...) serves award-winning Real Ales as well as a fine selection of lagers and keg beers, spirits and wine.
Our bar opening times are:
Monday 12:00 to 21:00 (club closes at 21:30)
Tuesday - Thursday 12:00 to 23:00 (Club closes at 23:30)
Friday and Saturday 12:00 to 23:30 (Club closes by 23:59)
Sunday 12:00 to 21:00 (Club closes at 21:30)
The club opens 30 minutes earlier for snooker
There is a Happy hour for members, every weekday from 4pm to 7pm and weekends from 2pm to 6pm, with IPA and Carlsberg @ only £2.30 a pint, Real Ale @£2.60 a pint and 175ml wine @2.75 a glass.
Lunchtime food is also available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with main meals costing £7 each or two for £12.

Snooker and darts
We have 3 recently re-covered snooker tables. 2 tables are tournament standard and one "practice table" (even this is excellent condition).
We believe that we are the cheapest in "the bay" at just £3 per hour.
Free snooker for members every Sunday from 11:30 am to 9:25 pm.
We also have a high quality dart board with digital scoreboard.
Weekly Events
Free to enter Fun Quiz every Tuesday at 8:30 pm. Will you win £25 or get the loo roll? There is also a raffle with a chance to win up to £100.
Eyes down for |Bingo every Wednesday at 2:00 pm and Thursday at 8:00 pm
Member's Free meat draw every Saturday at 1:30 - be in the club to enter.
Meat Draw every Saturday at 2 pm, buy your tickets at the bar throughout the week.
Tote Draw for members is every Saturday at 2:05 - cash prize!
Every Monday from 6:00 pm we have Line Dancing with (chargeable) lessons for beginners.
Bingo Twice a Week
Test your luck and have a blast with our bingo sessions held twice a week. Exciting cash prizes await the lucky winners!
Eyes down for Bingo every Wednesday at 2:00 pm and Thursday at 8:00 pm

Euchre team
Our Euchre Team is currently taking part in the summer season of "Round Robin" events. Details of when and where they are playing are above. We will also attempt to keep at least one table running at home when the round Robins are elsewhere, so that anyone wishing to have a friendly game or learn the game can do so.
British Legion and Royal Navy Association
We are pleased to say that the Paignton branches of both the Royal British Legion and the Royal Navy Association meet here every month.

Membership
Single membership is £25/year for 2025. Couples membership is £40 (both parties must live at the same address). Junior (16yo) membership is £10, restrictions apply as per the rule book.
Association fee is still only £2.50.

Royal Navy Association
Torbay Royal Naval Association welcomes all current and former Naval personnel.
We meet on the last Wednesday of the month at 19:30

The meetings usually last about an hour, followed by a small raffle, and a few social drinks
